Looking for an easy and inexpensive Rifle Paper Co dupe? Look no further than this oversized “Un, Deux, Trois” art print!
I’m a huge fan of Rifle Paper Co! You can often find me swooning over their beautiful floral patterns and creative art prints. I have always been drawn to the simplicity of their famous “Un, Deux, Trois” art print. This print is sentimental to me because of my love for the French language (and the colour pink!).
This past summer, I had the opportunity to redecorate my daughter’s room and I knew I wanted to include a cute French-inspired print. I decided that with only a few supplies, I could re-create Rifle Paper Co’s well-known print (with my own spin). I could not mean it more when I say this DIY is SO simple to do – let me show you how!

Rifle Paper Co Dupe
This is one of my favourite art prints I have created to date! It is so easy that even a novice like me could complete this project in an hour. Below you will find a step-by-step process for how to do this yourself!
1. Gather Your Materials
For this Rifle Paper Co dupe, you will only need a few simple materials!
- Bristol Board – I found pink bristol board at the Dollar Store for $1!
- Gel Ink Pen (or fine black tip) – I found a pack of 5 Pilot Pens on Amazon for less than $20. These will last me a long time and I’m planning on using them for other projects.
- Frame – You will want a frame that fits the size of bristol board. Luckily, I found an Ikea frame with the same dimensions (61x91cm). I thrifted it for $10 but buying it from Ikea is also reasonably priced! You could easily cut the bristol board to the proper dimensions if you prefer your art print to be on the smaller size. This is totally customizable!
2. Pick Your Font
To begin, you’ll want to decide on the style of font you would like to use. I decided to use my regular handwriting to embrace the quirkiness and sentimental value of this print. Even if handwriting isn’t your thing, you could easily create your own version of this Rifle Paper Co’s print. Simply choose a font that you like, print out each number to size and trace it. If you want to closely match the font to Rifle Paper Co’s, you could use a website like this.
3. Plan It Out
Take a couple of minutes to plan out where you want each number to be written, how big you want it to be, and how far you want to space them apart. Also consider any added details you might want to include (like swirls on the letters, extra long lines etc.).
4. Draw It
You can either draw free-handed with the black gel pen or use a pencil to draw your lines first. I decided to free-hand it so that I didn’t have to worry about pencil marks. I picked up a couple backup bristol boards in case I wasn’t happy the first time and wanted to re-do it.
5. Outline It
After you have drawn your lines and you’re happy with how it looks, go back over each letter to make the lines thicker. Decide how bold you want your letters to be. I decided to keep mine on the thinner side but you can go as bold as you like!
6. Frame It
Once you have finished outlining, it’s time to frame it! As mentioned above, I love the Ikea frame because it is the perfect dimensions for bristol board (and a great price)! Put the frame wherever your heart desires. I must say – it is so sweet in a girl’s room!
